Can we just take a while to appreciate the look Schmidt gives to Jess at the beginning of the episode? Because it’s just too cute and sincere…I honestly believe that out of all the guys, Schmidt is the sweetest and most caring one when it comes about Jess.

I really liked this Paul guy, don’t get me wrong but he’s just too much like Jess…there’s no balance there. On the other hand, Schmidt copes with Jess’ crazyness and manages to have fun with it.

Based on pure fangirl logic,

• Jess and Nick will be romantically involved
• So will be Cece and Schmidt
• Jess and Schmidt will become the best friends ever
• They will turn to each other whenever they need help with their relationships (since Cece’s Jess’ best friend and Nick’s Schmidt’s best friend)
• And will become so close, they’ll end up falling in love with each other.
